Zomato - Swiggy Onboarding Guide

Preparation Before Onboarding

  • Documentation Required: List of necessary documents (FSSAI licence, GSTIN, PAN, etc.).

  • Menu Preparation: Ensure the menu is updated, priced correctly, and categorised.

  • Bank Details: Information needed for payments (Bank account details, IFSC code).

Required Documents

To complete your onboarding process, please have the following documents ready:

  1. Business Registration Proof: Certificate of Incorporation or Business Registration Certificate.

  2. FSSAI Licence: Food Safety and Standards Authority of India licence.

  3. GST Registration Certificate: Goods and Services Tax registration.

  4. PAN Card: Permanent Account Number card of the business entity.

  5. Bank Account Details: Cancelled cheque or bank statement for account verification.

  6. Owner's ID Proof: Aadhar card, Voter ID, or Passport of the owner.

  7. Address Proof: Utility bill, lease agreement, or any other valid address proof of the business location. (If required)

Restaurant Details

Restaurant details, including:

  • Restaurant Name: 

  • Address (Please ensure that this address is the same as mentioned on your FSSAI licence)

  • Co-ordinates (for order pick-up)

  • City

  • Zip Code

  • Contact Number

  • Email

  • Cuisine Types

  • Average Cost for Two

  • Operational Hours

  • Upload high-quality images of your restaurant, including the exterior, interior, and popular dishes. (If required)

Menu Upload

Menu items by providing:

  • Item Name

  • Description

  • Price

  • Category (e.g., Everyday9, Sattva, Wichwich)

  • High-quality images for each menu item. (If required)

 Bank Details

Bank account details for receiving payments & Payout Invoice:

  • Bank Name

  • Account Number

  • IFSC Code

  • Payout Invoice Email:

Verify the bank details to ensure accuracy.

Review and Publish

  • Review all the information and ensure everything is accurate.

  • Make any necessary edits or updates.

  • Sign contract or MoU

  • Restaurant will be live (2-3 days)  on Zomato, and customers can start placing orders.
